Located in Virginia’s Tyson’s Corner, MVP is in the heart of the mid-Atlantic technology corridor. We feel very strongly that this region will produce some of the most innovative and successful new companies in the world with the support and strong local presence of world class corporate, government, and educational institutions.

Vision
Unusual competence in discernment or perception; intelligent foresight. Often, vision is a product of understanding and monitoring a variety of trends that are not obviously correlated, and inferring a likely outcome based on ones particular interests and expertise. Vision of this sort can be particularly useful when aided by an understanding of market indicators and regulatory directives.
Domain Expertise
Entails having pertinent information or skill in a particular functional area or domain (e.g. network management, artificial intelligence, secure data transfer). It generally implies useful and large amounts of highly relevant knowledge and fluency. Domain expertise is extraordinarily important because it not only ensures a management team has a solid understanding of key industry trends and best practices, but also because of the recognition and clout prospective customers and partners gain by identifying themselves with a company and management team that is recognized as a thought leader in its field.
Discipline
Great entrepreneurs are not born, they have trained themselves to produce desired results with consistent and repeatable behavior such as hard work, preparation, and focus. Keeping on task is one of the most difficult things for an early stage business to do, but the importance of doing so is paramount for an organization with limited time and resources.
Tenacity
Successful entrepreneur have the persistent determination and unyielding desire to make their venture work. MVP has that same desire and has proven our willingness and capacity to work through challenges that many larger firms would not bother with.
